THE CHERRY HOUSE
The project site is located on a slope facing Monte Rosa, Sacro Monte and Campo dei Fiori. The building appears as a parallelepiped excavated in some parts. It is characterized by large windows and a flat roof projecting from the facade.
The volume of the house is on two levels; the external finishes are plastered. The basement, which is made of reinforced concrete, is totally embedded in the ground, where the box, the technical rooms and a service area are located. The paved area outside the house follows the slope of the ground and connects the living area to the pool area.
The materials used are very few: stone plates, white plasters, iron parts painted in graphite gray and extra-clear glass.
The building is characterized by high energy performances and advanced plant engineering.
